What Is The Wrongful Death Attorney Network?

The Wrongful Death Attorney Network is a nationwide network of independent attorneys and law firms that help families to uncover the truth and to demand justice in wrongful death cases. It is our goal in every case to provide surviving family members in wrongful death cases with legal services of the highest quality. We also strive to maintain the highest possible ethical standards in practicing law, in representing our clients, and in dealing with our opponents.

When clients contact us, we carefully evaluate their cases and work closely with them to identify an excellent attorney in their area with the skills and ability to effectively handle their particular case. We continue to work with clients and network attorneys until we achieve the best possible outcome. 

Wrongful death cases handled by the network are nearly always taken on a contingency fee basis. Most cases involve a contingency fee of between 25% and 40%. By agreement, the attorneys in the network divide any contingency fee amongst themselves and there is no additional charge beyond the contingency fee to clients for services provided by the network. (Of course, court fees, expenses and other litigation costs are normally charged to clients in advance or are deducted from amounts recovered.)

The Wrongful Death Attorney Network was founded attorney J. Whitfield Larrabee of Brookline, Massachusetts. Mr. Larrabee has been a trial lawyer since 1988 and has acted as lead counsel in over seventy trials. He has successfully negotiated settlements, investigated claims and litigated hundreds of cases to completion. Mr. Larrabee also has extensive experience as an appellate attorney in both state and federal courts. He is the editor of the American Wrongful Death Law Report and is President of the Wrongful Death Attorney Network.
